We are committed to making high-quality childcare accessible, transparent, and flexible for families. Our fees and funding arrangements are clearly structured in line with current government guidance.

Funded Early Education Places

We offer funded Early Education places in accordance with government guidelines.

Funded hours cover the cost of childcare and early education during your allocated entitlement hours. There are no mandatory charges attached to funded hours.

Eligible families may be entitled to:

  • 15 hours funded childcare

  • 30 hours funded childcare

  • 2-year-old funded places (subject to eligibility)

Please speak to our team if you would like support checking your eligibility or applying.

15 Hours Funded Childcare

For all 3 and 4-year-olds

Every child is entitled to 15 funded hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year), beginning the term after their third birthday.
You do not need to apply for this funding. We simply require proof of your child’s age (for example, a birth certificate or passport).

 

For some children aged 9 months – 2 years

Your child may also be eligible for 15 funded hours if your family meets certain criteria, including:

  • Receiving qualifying benefits

  • Your child has additional needs

  • Your child has a social worker

We are happy to help families check eligibility and guide you through the process.

30 Hours Funded Childcare

Children receiving 30 funded hours will be allocated 4 specific nursery days.

These hours can only be used on those allocated days, choosing one of the following sessions:

  • 8:00am – 3:30pm
    or

  • 9:00am – 4:30pm

  • ​

Funded hours cannot be transferred or split across different days.

If additional childcare is required:

  • Additional hours: £9.50 per hour

  • Extra days may be booked at the standard day rate

Important To Note

At Angelface, we do not promote funded hours as half-day sessions.

We encourage families to use funded entitlement across full-day sessions, allowing us to provide:

  • Continuity of care

  • Stable routines

  • Appropriate staffing levels

  • The best outcomes for children

Voluntary Daily Contribution

We invite families to make a voluntary daily contribution towards additional resources and snacks enjoyed throughout the day.
 

This may help support:

  • Creative materials

  • Sensory resources

  • Enrichment activities

  • Healthy refreshments
     

This contribution is completely optional.
 

Choosing not to contribute will never affect your child’s funded place or the quality of care provided.

Additional Hours

If families require childcare beyond their funded entitlement:

£9.50 per hour

These sessions are optional and charged separately.

Optional Extra Activities 

Throughout the year, we may offer optional experiences such as:

  • Dance sessions

  • Sports coaching

  • Trips to Bellingham Soft Play

  • Seasonal workshops

​

These are not included in funded hours and are only charged if parents choose for their child to participate.

Payments, Policies & Administration

To secure your nursery place, we require a: £30.00 registration fee

If you wish to increase sessions, reduce sessions, or cancel your place, we require one month’s written notice, subject to confirmation by management.


Fees are based on weekly attendance, therefore monthly invoices may vary depending on the number of weeks in each month.


Fees are reviewed each April, based on operational costs, with any changes applied in the following May invoice.


We do not offer refunds for:

  • Sickness

  • Holidays

  • Missed sessions


All invoices are fully itemised and clearly show:

  • Funded early education hours (£0.00)

  • Additional paid childcare hours

  • Optional meals or snacks

  • Voluntary contributions

  • Optional extra activities
